MENKA GREEN VALLY COOPERATIVE CREDIT UNION RECEIVED BEST AWARD
On the occasion of the International day of Wetland Restoration, under the Cameroon Climate Journalism Network commemorated by the World Echo Media Group, distinguished and accredited Menka Green Vally Cooperative credit union as best in customer service provider in the region and fastest growing union in the northwest. Nominated by a group of panelists, Menka was identified for her objectivity and creative abilities in promoting her members through beneficial services to fight poverty through skill building, promoting farming and other forms of agricultural activities to boast food production and sustainability amongst members.
Their skilled initiatives are not limited to loans but expand to building businesses and monitoring growth amongst others.
In the words of the assistant general manger to journalist, Mr Muluh Felix Tseh, for general manager, underscored the creation of the union in 2022 with lots of challenges. These challenges stood as major obstacles, but with the committed staff and workers saw these as a stepping stone for growth. Mr. Muluh said in 2024 the union witnessed escalation in membership registration influenced by strategic customer service and workers team spirit .
