Iminent! Why Biya’s apology is awaited-Ngufor

For over few weeks now, political actors and some most prominent civil society leaders have been reacting on various media air waves, social, audiovisual, and print challenging Biya’s traditional end of year speech, of the 31st December 2019. Factors contributing to these challenges came up as lacking concerns for the families in the two regions who have had great lose since 2016. Multiple contradictions from same members of Biya,s government that had recently commented on the ongoing crisis in the two regions, to many well learned Cameroonians shows the unbalance ruling of the entire system. One of such highly informed Cameroonian is the CEO of the North West farmer house – Ngufor Peter. His reactions took place recently during press briefing at his regional office in Bamenda. Peter Ngufor noted with dismay, giving reasons to the long awaited solution that have neither come through the so called national dialogue. Passion as a father was needed from the head of state during his address to the nation. Raveling that to have declared war on his people was so much a great error on his part and his government. Cameroonians are in need for a father who could turn round and wipe the tears of the beloved martyrs of this nation. Violating international human rights conventions has all not been necessary and his ministers are aware, of the checks and balances that will be brought to book. Reacting to questions raised by the press on the militarization of the two regions; Ngufor reacted in strong term why government under Biya’s leadership could term follow citizens who have live together for fifty years as terrorist! This cannot be accepted, militarizing, burning, looting and killing follow Cameroonians on pretexts is evil… Ngufor spook out! “We do not have terrorist in Cameroon! Ngufor noted. For over three decade of ruling the government of Mr Biya has remained adamant to the changing times, given the new dispensation of digital governance and democratic principles staging a new road map for a new Cameroon as being preached by Mr. Biya, during his New Year speech. Being embarrassed for failing to assimilate the Anglophones for these years, the same government is working out strategic measures to keep the Anglophones under their feet. Reacting on the forth coming elections, Ngufor pointed out the several uncertainties on the ground and the excess militarization of the two regions, to instill fear amongst the voters. Noting that apart from the city centers, inhabitants of most hit communities have fled their homes to the bushed while others in to city centers as IDPs. The all unanswered question is –how will elections take place in those abandoned communities and who are those that will vote for their representatives, are they ghost? The answers are all hanging in the air till after the elections, come February 2020. It was expedience for the president to first level the ground by giving general amnesty to all political detainees most especially those from the North West and South west regions, to give credibility and respect to democratic institutions in the country.
